The Treasure Valley Canopy Network (TVCN) is a non-profit that is dedicated to the sustainable development of the Treasure Valley's urban forest to help build healthy and vibrant communities. By serving on the board, you will be able to leverage your current expertise to help us reach our goals, expand your network and make a positive impact on your community. No tree or former board experience necessary!

Board Recruitment Timeline

• Applications for the 2025-2027 Term are due September 30, 2024.

• The Board will meet in October to review applications and will reach out if clarifying information is needed.

• Positions will be offered by November, with official voting in December.

• Board service will begin January 2025.

Basic Board Member Expectations

• Attend quarterly board meetings

• Be an active ambassador for TVCN

• Assist with fundraising efforts

• If not already a Member of the TVCN, must be willing to become one at either an individual or organization level

• 2-year term commitment
