Free Tree Programs
Treasure Valley Canopy Network partners with local communities to offer free trees for homes in participating cities. Each year, a limited number of trees are available for residents in participating communities. These programs are supported by volunteer Tree Captains.

How it Works
Step 1: Residents are able to order a tree from a list of 4-6 different types of trees for their home while supplies last.
Step 2: Tree orders are confirmed with the tree recipients. Tree Recipients choose if they would like to plant the tree on their own or join our volunteer event where volunteer teams assist with planting. Planting day will be announced to tree recipients and community volunteers.
Step 3: Trees arrive! Additional coordination about tree pickup and planting day will be shared with Tree Recipients.
Important Notes
Our trees are big! Trees upon arrival typically are 5-10 feet tall in 15 gallon pots.
Only one tree per household per year.
